Overview

The Milestone Hotel is located in the heart of London directly opposite Kensington Palace with magnificent views across Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The Royal Albert Hall is within minutes walk, as are London's exclusive stores of Knightsbridge, Kensington and fashionable Notting Hill. Beautifully restored this Victorian building has the ambience of an English Country home. Every room is equipped with DVD/CD players, Satellite TV, private safe, bathrobes, hair dryer, minibar, Penhaligon's toiletries, modem/ fax points, wireless broadband internet access, air-conditioning, deluxe tea and coffee facilities. Next door to The Milestone are six two-bedroom Apartments situated in one of London's most coveted positions and accessible to the deluxe, five star Milestone Hotel. These are individually designed and beautifully appointed, with a selection of Terraces and Balconies. Apartment guests have signing privileges for all Milestone Hotel services, including 24 hour Room Service, Concierge, Health Club, Cheneston's Restaurant, Stables Bar, Park Lounge, Conservatory and the Executive Boardrooms.

Dining In

All charges from the dining facilities can be applied to the guest room folio. The dress attire at all the facilities, is smart casual. The Cheneston’s Restaurant has a real coal burning fire and a semi-private dining room called The Oratory. The restaurant is open daily from 7am to 11pm and serves Modern British cuisine. The cost of breakfast starts at 19.50GBP, lunch from 26.50GBP and Dinner from 44.00GBP. Lunch and dinner are 3-courses. The restaurant seats 30 and reservations are recommended. Children's menu is also available. The cozy atmosphere of the Stables Bar is a perfect place to unwind over a drink. It is open daily from 7am to 11pm and serves a range of fine wines, spirits, light meals, snacks and cigars. The Park Lounge, an elegant drawing room with panoramic views of Kensington Gardens and a real coal burning fire, is open 24 hours daily and serves light meals, Cream tea, High tea and afternoon tea with a glass of champagne. Prices vary from 15GBP to 28GBP. The lounge seats 20. Reservations are required for Afternoon Tea. In the Conservatory, where natural daylight floods in, you can relax amidst the striking décor and enjoy light meals, snacks and sandwiches. The seating capacity is 16.
Recreation and Health

City tours commence from a location within walking distance of hotel. All of London's major attractions and exclusive stores are within easy access. London's largest and most beautiful parklands are opposite the hotel and our Concierge can arrange tickets for most attractions and entertainment outlets. The Milestone Health Club features state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment. It is also equipped with 2 Treadmills and Stepping/Cross-Training Machines, 3 Stationary Bicycles, 1 Rowing Machine, an extensive range of free weights, pull up bars, an abdominiser, resistance pool, sauna, satellite television, fresh fruit, mineral water and magazines. All facilities and service are complimentary to guests, except the Massage Room where reservations and prices are on request. The club is open 24 hours daily and is reserved for hotel guests only. Other recreational activities off site include boating on the Serpentine Lake (1 Mile/1.6 Km), horseback riding in Hyde Park (0.75 Mile/1.2 Km), Indoor swimming pool available at special rate at David Lloyd’s Fitness Centre (1.5 Miles/2.4 Km).

The Albemarle: Executive Chef, Lee Streeton offers a mouth-watering a la carte menu of great British classics, using only the finest seasonal ingredients. While the restaurant retains its clubby feel with the original wood paneling, the photographs by Herbertus von Honenlohe which adorn the walls, along with the 1930s lighting and banquette booths offer a lighter more contemporary twist.

The English Tea Room serves one of the most famous afternoon teas in London and it is from here that Agatha Christie wrote 'At Bertram's Hotel'. Offering a wide choice of teas, finger sandwiches, freshly made scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, as well as home-made cakes and patisseries; it is the perfect place to retire to at the end of the day.

The Donovan Bar: pays homage to British photographer Terence Donovan and is lined with his iconic prints. Situated in the heart of Kensington overlooking Kensington Gardens with wonderful views of Kensington Palace. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the city’s cultural highlights – Knightsbridge with Harrods', Sloane Street and trendy Notting Hill.

Overview
Directly opposite Marylebone Tube Station, in Marylebone, one of London's most up -market districts - also within a short distance from Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and the theatre district.

The Landmark is a classic example of Victorian Gothic Architecture, most apparent on the exterior, which features icons, red brickwork and beautiful arch detailing. Inside the hotel, the centerpiece is the eight-story glass atrium, which can be viewed from all internal facing guestrooms.
